Honor your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land
that the Lord your God is giving you.
This institution was placed for us to learn,
For how can we honor the Father if we can't our own?
When we disobey them we are really saying "no" to Him.
Whether they love or despise, we will see them worthy through our eyes
Of the honor their entitled, even if you're belittled
The love they truly have for us we may never realize
But we'll see them worthy through our eyes.
They would gladly give their lives for us, just like the Father did
Why not give our lives to them, yet claim to honor the Maker?
Born at the first birth; saved at the second
They'll see us through it all with God lighting the way.
This obedience extends beyond them
It must be rooted in our souls (x2)
Forgive us for all the tears, forgive us for us all the years we dishonored you.
Forever grateful are we; forever thankful we will be (x2)
Out of the wreckage brought upon by dual personal tragedies comes an outstanding album that is sorrowful and victorious. Once you listen to this a few times, it’s hard to want to listen to anything else for a while. This is my front runner for metal album of 2021, and perhaps even my overall AOTY. Metal Marc
Reign down fire is the message right from the start, and remains the theme metaphorically. This release is OP for sure. Love it. Praise Jesus Christ. Super Crispy
